Asana Recovery Weekly Team Update
New Members of the Team, Trivia, Local Food Suggestions, and Employee Celebrations
Here is this week’s update for Asana Recovery team members:
New members of the Asana Recovery team
We would like to welcome new members of staff!
Lysan enjoys reading poetry, is a talented cook, and finds happiness in her son and family. She got started in the addictions industry because she wants to create a positive impact on people struggling with addiction and be there every step of the way when they find recovery.
She works as a Medical Technician at Asana Recovery, where she provides information to clients about their medication and program, provides nursing assessments, conducts client monitoring, and collects and prepares samples for the lab.
Jim joins Asana Recovery as a Clinical Outreach Associate, where he refers qualified leads to the Admissions Team for further screening and admission into the program. He can also be found marketing the services and programs offered at Asana Recovery.
He is in recovery himself, and is passionate about helping others find the peace and happiness he enjoys daily thanks to others that have helped him in his journey. His sobriety and relationships with his family bring him happiness.
Previously, Jim attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and University of Central Oklahoma. He is proud to have been a member of All-American Football and on the only undefeated team in Southeastern History. He shares his home with Basset Hounds named after Seinfeld characters.
Asana Recovery trivia
Last week we asked Asana Recovery staff to answer this question: What is the tiny piece at the end of a shoelace called?
Answer: Aglet
The winner is Jason! Congratulations on winning a $5 gift card from Starbucks!
This week’s question is: How many years did it take to construct the Golden Gate Bridge?
Please submit your answers to HR. Correct answers will be entered into a draw for a $5 Starbucks gift card!
Local food suggestion
This week’s local food recommendation comes from Kevin: Smoked fish (either tuna or salmon) from Catalina Fish Kitchen and Seafood Deli.
Kevin says that the fish is very healthy but the fries are amazing. He said “sometimes I slip up and get the fries. They are the best fries, only $3!”
Catalina Fish Kitchen is located at 670 West 17th Street, Costa Mesa, CA.
It is open Monday to Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Employee celebrations
Congratulations to Bobby Campbell, he celebrates his work anniversary on August 11!
