At Asana Recovery, we’re more than just a treatment center—we’re a family. And every family has members who inspire, uplift, and lead by example. This month, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on Emily Saado, a dedicated member of our admissions team, a loving mother, and a passionate advocate for recovery.
Emily’s story is one of commitment, resilience, and giving back, both in her personal life and in her work at Asana Recovery. Whether she’s supporting patients seeking treatment, guiding women in recovery, or raising her young daughter, Emily approaches everything with compassion and dedication.
A Mother First: Emily’s Greatest Joy
If you ask Emily what her biggest passion is, the answer is simple: her family.
She spends most of her free time with her 1-year-old daughter, Isabella (see picture below), taking her to playgrounds, malls, and playdates—cherishing every moment.
“Being a mom has been my greatest passion. I know how precious time is, and I want to give Isabella all the love and attention I can.”
But as much as motherhood is a gift, Emily also understands the importance of balance. For the past two years, her focus has been on her daughter’s well-being—through pregnancy, postpartum, and early childhood. Now, she’s making 2025 the year of self-care and personal growth.
“Motherhood has been the best gift ever, but I also need to prioritize myself this year. I want to focus on working out, eating healthier, and finding time to be the best version of myself.”
Emily’s story is one that many parents can relate to—the struggle to balance giving everything to your child while remembering to care for yourself.
From Recovery to Giving Back: Emily’s Dedication to NA
Emily is not just an advocate for recovery—she lives it every day.
As a member of Narcotics Anonymous (NA), she dedicates a huge portion of her time to sponsoring eight women, offering them guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear.
“These women in recovery have become my family. My sponsor has 33 years of sobriety, and she’s become like a mother figure to me. Recovery has given me so much, so I try to give back as much as I can.”
Her deep commitment to the recovery community is what makes her such a strong advocate for patients coming into treatment. She understands that recovery isn’t just about getting sober—it’s about building a new life.
Her daily routine includes prayer and gratitude, both of which keep her grounded and allow her to approach every day with intention.
Emily’s story reminds us all that recovery doesn’t end after treatment—it’s a lifelong commitment to healing, helping others, and staying connected.
Why Emily Loves Working at Asana Recovery
Emily’s passion for helping others goes beyond her personal recovery—it’s also at the core of what she does at Asana Recovery.
For her, Asana isn’t just a workplace—it’s a family, just like the recovery community.
“I love working for Asana Recovery because it feels like a family. Our #1 goal is to help people heal and regain their lives, and we do this by working together and supporting one another.”
The most rewarding part of her job? Hearing from the patients and families who found healing at Asana.
“I’ve spoken to so many alumni who have celebrated years of recovery after leaving Asana. They express real gratitude for the help we provided, and I love knowing I was part of that.”
At Asana Recovery, every success story fuels our mission. For Emily, each person she helps through the admissions process is a reminder of why this work is so important.
