Meet Jonathon Hagen, CADC-II, our Executive Director, who has been an integral part of the Asana Recovery team for the past two years. Jonathon’s leadership, dedication, and passion for helping others have made a remarkable impact on our clients and staff alike. Let’s take a moment to get to know the person behind the role!
Staying Active
Most mornings, you’ll find Jonathon at Newport Jetties, catching waves and starting the day with a refreshing bodyboarding session. On weekends, he prioritizes family time—whether it’s attending church, visiting parks, or heading to the beach.
He’s an avid outdoorsman who finds that staying active is the best way to manage stress and stay grounded in life. Depending on the season, Jonathon’s adventurous spirit takes him to the slopes of Big Bear for snowboarding or the trails of Laguna Beach for mountain biking. 🏄♂️🏔️
A Passion for Personal Growth
Jonathon is also passionate about self-improvement and education. He’s currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at CSULB, with graduation set for next fall! 🎓
Fun Fact: California Burrito Connoisseur
Jonathon’s favorite food is California Burritos, and since moving to Huntington Beach earlier this year, he’s been on a mission to find the perfect one. If you know a great spot, drop a recommendation his way! 🌯
Why Jonathon Loves Working in Addiction Treatment
When asked about his work, Jonathon shared,
“Working in addiction treatment is incredibly fulfilling because it allows me to give back and make a real difference in people’s lives. Witnessing clients’ transformations as they embrace acceptance and accountability is nothing short of remarkable. I’m also so grateful to work with a team of dedicated professionals who truly care about our clients.”
