Karla’s passion for mental and physical health, along with her drive to help others, makes her a truly inspiring member of our Asana Recovery family.

When Karla isn’t working, she’s studying hard to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)—a goal that reflects her deep commitment to helping others heal and grow. Her love for self-improvement and her drive to understand the human mind extend into her hobbies, like reading about psychology and motivation.

On her days off, you might find Karla swimming in the ocean, playing frisbee (even if she humbly admits she’s not great at it), or enjoying a plate of pancakes with a cup of coffee. And when it comes to downtime, TV takes a back seat—Karla would rather explore topics that fuel her passion for personal growth.

Karla shares her life with her Australian cattle dog, who’s not only her loyal companion but also her shopping buddy! This clever pup is bilingual and goes just about everywhere with Karla, proving that sometimes our pets can be the best partners in our journeys.
