Employee Spotlight: Meet Victor Vega
At Asana Recovery, every team member brings something unique to the table, and Victor (Health Technician) is no exception. From his passion for music and sound engineering to his love for racing and working on cars, Victor’s story is one of creativity, determination, and dedication to helping others.

A Passion for Music and Cars
When Victor isn’t at work, you’ll often find him immersed in his hobbies. He’s a talented sound engineer who creates and listens to music, describing it as therapy and a way to express feelings of stress, anxiety, and even joy. Whether it’s Rap or R&B, music is an outlet that keeps him grounded.
Fun fact: Victor competed in a four-round rap competition on Power106—and won! 🎤 He’s also a car enthusiast who loves working on his car and racing at the track. His ideal vacation? Visiting Medjugorje in Bosnia or Rome to see the Vatican, both dream destinations deeply tied to his faith and spiritual journey.
Big Goals and Ambitions
Victor desires to make a lasting impact, not only in his career but for his family. His ultimate goal is to become the first entrepreneur in his family and create generational wealth. It’s a dream rooted in hard work, perseverance, and the belief that no obstacle is too big to overcome, says Victor.
What Victor Loves About Working at Asana Recovery
Although it feels like he just started, Victor says his time at Asana Recovery has flown by. For him, the most rewarding part of his role is seeing patients progress through their recovery journey:
“It’s almost like you can see hope being restored bit by bit with each passing day. Even if there’s a slip-up or relapse, those who come back to finish what they started truly show their strength and perseverance.”
Victor also values the camaraderie among his coworkers, describing the team as a tight-knit community. He admires the effort everyone puts in to ensure patients feel comfortable and supported during their transition to recovery:
“I love my coworkers and our dynamic. The team works hard to keep things going, and I genuinely enjoy the patients and seeing their progress.”
