Employee Updates, New Team Member, Dress Code Updates, and Trivia
Here is this week’s update for Asana Recovery team members:
Employee updates
We have two new employees starting next week:
Cruz will be working as a Behavioral Health Technician
Monica will be working as an Onboarding Specialist on the HR team
We would also like to say congratulations to Makoa Hecita, who is getting promoted to Case Manager!
To Makoa, happiness is spending time with his grandchildren, running and working out, and hanging out with his dog, Joey.
He has a passion for working in the addictions industry and helping others since he got sober six years ago. He studied Drug and Alcohol Counselling at Intercoast College in 2018-2019 and is continuing his education to become a Substance Abuse Counsellor.
New member of the Asana Recovery team
We would like to welcome a new member of staff!
Before working at Asana Recovery, Nathan used to be a lifeguard and has some work experience in sales. He enjoys going to the movies and finding cool nature spots. His favorite beach is Laguna Beach and he has interests in Dodge vehicles, the Dodgers, and UFC.
He comes from a large family and has many skills, including being a musician, Jiu Jitsu, personal training, and swimming. He is also a skilled Medical Equipment Technician.
To Nathan, happiness is reaching a goal, spending time on the beach, music, prayer, and quality family time. He also enjoys being able to help uplift others and be a role model. This has influenced him to join the addictions industry, as he wants to help guide others through sobriety.
At Asana Recovery, Nathan works as a Behavioural Health Technician. He can be found observing and charting clients, maintaining ethical policies, informing clients about medications, and working closely with medical staff.
